Privacy policy
This page sets out what personal data we receive through this website, what we do with it, how long we keep it and how to exercise your rights.
Data controller
The data controller is Fewl, a French limited liability company (société à responsabilité limitée) with its registered office at 104 traverse des Fabres, 13011 Marseille, France.
- SIREN: 850 949 165
- Registered with the Marseille commercial register (RCS Marseille) under number 850 949 165
- VAT number: FR52850949165
- Legal representative: Jules de Haas
For any question about your data, write to hello@fewl.me.
What we collect
We collect only what you send us yourself. Through the AI audit booking form, that means:
- your name;
- your company name and sector;
- your work email address;
- your phone number, if you choose to give it;
- the tools you use and your description of the task you want to discuss.
The server receiving the form also records a temporary fingerprint of your IP address. It is used solely to limit how many submissions can come from one connection, in order to contain automated sending. That fingerprint is deleted after one hour and cannot be used to re-identify you.
Why we process it
This information is used only to handle your request: to get back to you, prepare the audit meeting and send you the report. We use it for no other purpose, and for no unsolicited marketing.
The legal basis is the performance of pre-contractual steps taken at your request (GDPR article 6.1.b): you contact us, we reply.
Who has access
Your data is available only to the people at Fewl handling your request. It is never sold, rented, shared or passed to third parties for marketing purposes.
Two technical suppliers are necessarily involved, as processors under the GDPR:
- OVH SAS (France) — hosting for the website and for the server that receives the form.
- Amazon Web Services, through our own sending instance — delivery of the email generated by the form. The message passes through this service to reach our inbox.
This site also loads its typefaces from Google Fonts. That request discloses your IP address to Google. No cookie is set in the process.
Cookies and analytics
This site sets no cookies and uses no advertising trackers. There is therefore no consent banner to display.
We do measure traffic, using Umami — an open-source tool we host ourselves, on our own infrastructure: the data never leaves us and no additional supplier is involved (the host is still OVH, already listed above). It sets no cookie, stores nothing on your device, does not follow you from one site to another and does not retain your IP address; it produces aggregated statistics only (page views, referrer, device type). It therefore falls within the audience measurement that the French data protection authority exempts from consent.
How long we keep it
- Enquiry with no commercial follow-up: three years from our last exchange, in line with the French data protection authority's guidance.
- Enquiry leading to a contract: for the duration of the relationship, then for the statutory retention periods applying to accounting and contractual records.
- Anti-abuse IP fingerprint: one hour.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, erase, restrict and object to the processing of your data, as well as the right to data portability.
To exercise them, write to hello@fewl.me. We reply within one month. We may ask for proof of identity where there is reasonable doubt about who is making the request.
If our answer does not satisfy you, you may lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL (cnil.fr), 3 place de Fontenoy, TSA 80715, 75334 Paris Cedex 07, France.
Security
Traffic to this site is encrypted (HTTPS). Credentials for the sending services are never exposed in the browser: they live on the server, outside the code repository.
Changes
This policy may change, in particular if we add a service or a processor. The date it was last updated appears at the top of this page.
